Kingdom Sushi - Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 27, 2026

This policy explains what we collect and how we use it when you call us or text us, and when you use this website. The short version:

  • When you call us, your call is answered by an automated voice assistant and may be recorded and transcribed.
  • We use those recordings only to keep a record of your request, to check the quality of the service you received, and to improve that service. We do not sell them, use them for advertising, or use them for any other purpose.
  • If you give us your mobile number, we may text you confirmations and information you asked for. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts.
  • We ask only for what we need to help you, and we never ask for your credit card number over the phone.

The full policy below explains this in detail. For the terms that govern your use of this website, see our Terms of Use.

Who This Policy Applies To

This Privacy Policy describes how Kingdom Sushi (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you contact us by phone or text message, when we contact you by text message in connection with your call, and when you use this website.

Our phone line and text messages are powered by Call AI, a service provided by Trend Digital Marketing (“our service provider”), which operates the automated voice assistant and messaging on our behalf and under our instructions. We remain responsible for how your information is handled.

By calling us, by exchanging text messages with us, or by using this website, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

The Automated Phone Assistant

When you call Kingdom Sushi, your call is answered by an automated AI voice assistant rather than a person. The assistant can answer questions (hours, location, menu, policies), take and confirm reservations, send you helpful links, take a message, and connect you with a member of our team when appropriate.

You can always ask to speak with a person, and you can end the call at any time.

Call Recording and Why We Record

We may record and transcribe your call

Your call may be recorded and converted to a written transcript. Because Florida law requires the consent of all parties to record a call, you will hear a notice at the beginning of the call telling you that the call may be recorded. If you do not wish to be recorded, please let us know or end the call. Continuing the call after the notice indicates your consent to be recorded.

What we use recordings for — and nothing else

We use call recordings and transcripts strictly for the following purposes:

  • a.Record-keeping — to have an accurate record of your request, such as the details of a reservation or a question you asked.
  • b.Quality evaluation — to review how your call was handled and confirm you received accurate, courteous service.
  • c.Service improvement — to identify and fix problems and to improve the accuracy and helpfulness of our phone assistant and our team’s service.

Purpose limitation. We do not use your recordings, transcripts, or call information for advertising or marketing, we do not sell or rent them, we do not share them with third parties for their own purposes, and we do not use them to build marketing profiles or for any purpose unrelated to serving you and improving that service.

Text Messages (SMS)

When we text you

If you provide your mobile number during a call, or you text us first, we may send you text messages such as:

  • reservation or booking confirmations and reminders;
  • links you asked for — for example our menu, online ordering, directions, or a booking link;
  • answers or follow-ups related to your request.

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or reservation.

Message frequency, rates, and help

  • Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.
  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • For help, reply HELP, email us at contact@kingdomsushi.com, or call the location you contacted — every phone number is on our Locations page.

How to stop texts

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message and will not send you further texts unless you opt in again. You may also email contact@kingdomsushi.com to be removed.

How we handle your mobile information

We use your mobile number only to send the messages described above. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in and consent data will not be shared with any third parties, except with the messaging providers and carriers strictly necessary to deliver the messages you requested.

Your mobile carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details — your phone number, and your name and email address if you provide them.
  • Call content and recordings — the audio recording and transcript of your call, including what you tell us, such as reservation date, time and party size, or the question you asked.
  • Message content — the text messages exchanged with us and their delivery status.
  • Reservation or order details — the information needed to fulfill your request.
  • Call metadata — such as the date, time, and duration of the call.
  • Website and form data — what you submit through the forms on this site, including job applications and the résumé you attach, plus the technical and analytics data described under Cookies.

We do not ask for or store payment card numbers over the phone. Our assistant is designed not to request card numbers, and any sensitive number that may be captured incidentally is automatically masked from our records.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above only to:

  • answer your questions and fulfill your request, such as booking or confirming a reservation;
  • send you the confirmations, reminders, and links described in Text Messages;
  • keep an accurate record of your request;
  • evaluate and improve the quality of our service and our phone assistant;
  • consider you for a position when you apply for a job through this website;
  • protect against fraud and misuse, and comply with our legal obligations.

We do not use your information for unrelated purposes, and we do not sell it.

How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers. With trusted providers who help us operate — including Call AI / Trend Digital Marketing, which powers our phone assistant and messaging, and our telecommunications and SMS delivery providers. These providers may use your information only to perform services for us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
  • Legal reasons. When required by law or subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our guests, our staff, or the public.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How Long We Keep It

  • Call recordings and transcripts: retained for approximately 12 months, after which they are deleted or de-identified.
  • Text message logs: retained for approximately 18 months.
  • Reservation and contact details: retained as long as needed to serve you and to meet our record-keeping and legal obligations.

We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including access controls and encryption of recordings in storage. Traffic between your browser and this website is encrypted in transit. As noted above, our phone assistant is designed not to capture payment card numbers, and sensitive numbers are automatically masked.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to those who need it in order to serve you.

Your Choices and Rights

  • Stop texts: reply STOP to any message — see Text Messages.
  • Speak with a person: ask at any time during a call.
  • Access or deletion: you may ask us to access or delete the recording and information associated with your call or number.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws, such as the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We will not sell your personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@kingdomsushi.com or use our contact form, and we will respond as required by law.

Children’s Privacy

Our phone line, messaging, and website are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
